Buglhof in Sankt Englmar

Lots of delicious snacks at reasonable prices. You can sit wonderfully in the winter garden. Stramme Max was very good .... Friendly service..... Gladly again!

Family business, well run, friendly and competent staff. Good mood, even when it rains, is always passed on to the customer. Good kitchen, good food normal prices. Recommended, definitely.

The atmosphere was reminiscent of the dining room of an old people's home. Seldom eaten that bad ... the stuffed peppers reminded of sawdust, the goulash soup of vegetable soup (brown though ;-)). The service was extremely boring. In short: once and never again ...

The plum cake and the liver dumpling soup were great. Keep it up

Was everything OK.

We were there with 6 people in the inn to eat. The conditions could not speak German, the food was miserable, the kids ordered noodles with sauce and only got noodles. All products were from Aldi, ice cream and so on, the salmon fillet (Aldi) was So dry, you couldn't eat it. Salad buffet disaster

We have been going here for years. Very nicely located, especially a bit out of the way and quiet. Super nice family and great rooms. Highly recommended

Nice staff, good food, prepared by the boss and recommendations for massages and sauna. Hiking trails clearly visible on a map. Room simple but functional. Impression from the day of arrival.

Very nice location. Rooms are getting old but very clean. The service speaks little German, but is friendly and helpful. One can communicate. The operators themselves are very friendly, calm and cheerful. The breakfast buffet shines with freshly prepared scrambled and fried eggs and a large selection. We'd love to come back. The only drawback: four-legged friends, which are allowed in the inn, are not welcome in the restaurant. We don't know that from other inns.

Were at the Buglhof for dinner. I can't say when we last had such a bad meal. There are boiled potatoes for almost every meal, as the waitress understand German very poorly, it is difficult to ask for alternatives. There was a small salad buffet, vinegar and oil from the Aldi were at the buffet. The salmon fillets were so dry and unseasoned. The fillet was also frozen from the Aldi. Since I also prepared these fish fillets privately, I know them. The other family meals weren't much better either. The boss came to pay, and no one asked whether we were satisfied. Probably unnecessary to the half-full plate that went back. Eating is of course a matter of taste, but it was not about little things, but about serious defects. Will that keep a restaurant alive?

Great food, prices were ok, great staff.

We wanted to end the successful day in a toboggan paradise in a good inn. I should have listened to my gut feeling when entering the restaurant! This restaurant is indeed modern, but otherwise the ambience is impersonal and cold. There was no background music, so the conservatory was very noisy. Guests have, if at all, only whispered. An absolutely sad mood. After my wife did not get the grilled turkey meat, we chose the house specialty. Pork with an almond crust plus 2 tablespoons sauce (the same that had my daughter with noodles) and 6 Spritzkroketten. The only positive thing about the food was the tender meat, otherwise prepared without taste and love! The one-point recessions paint a picture similar to what we had. Would no longer visit the Buglhof for dinner.

Have for today 10.7. Ordered a table for 3 people at noon for weeks, which was also very kindly confirmed to us on the phone. When we arrived we had to find out. that the bar doesn't open until 5 p.m. Amazed, we entered the dining room, no one was there. After our search, we asked a woman in the kitchen whether the restaurant was not open. She didn't look at us and just said; "Boss not there". We left the restaurant because the promised lunch for my husband, who was on celebrate his 70th birthday on the same day "solte" ????? unfortunately failed. We had traveled an extra 120 km and then such a failure. Just a very big cheek. Once at Buglhof and never again

Everything perfect! We were most convinced by the food (half board). For breakfast there was always a buffet, the scrambled and fried eggs were always freshly prepared. For dinner, you chose from 4-5 dishes on the lecture, e.g. Kaiserschmarrn, goose leg or salmon fillet, which was then served in the evening. Sometimes there was a starter and / or dessert. The room is not super modern, but it was always clean and tidy. Likewise the sauna area. It was a nice family atmosphere, the boss was always present and courteous. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back next year. Greetings from Berlin!

Service: Responsive management, hosts and staff are nice and friendly (especially the Hungarian ladies and gents from Transylvania), excellent food, dated but clean rooms. Location: skiing requires some drive to ski-lifts, other than that the village is in walking distance, all the attractions are nearby, excellent location for mountain tours. Personally, I highly recommend.
